Researchers' Night 2024

During the pan-European Researchers’ Night event, organised by the University of Latvia on September 27, 2024, the project coordinator Dr. Teodora V. Kirova and the project manager MSc. Dina Bērziņa presented a poster promoting the Q-DYNAMO project to the general public. They gave an overview of the project objectives, EU and non-EU participants, as well as the planned activities.

Special attention was paid to the female student visitors with the purpose to advertise the subject and the opportunities in research and STEM education

Temple University Physics Colloquium - September 23, 2024

Participants of the Q-DYNAMO project attend the Temple University Physics Colloquium onganized by the Molecular Quantum Optics Group of Prof. A. Marjatta Lyyra. 
Special talk was given by Prof. Ennio Arimondo from University of Pisa on "Superadiabatic control of quantum systems".
Other attendees included well known researchers in quantum optics and atomic and molecular physics from Lehigh University, as well as the National Institute of Standarts and Technology.
Rita Veilande from the Riga group, who is currently completing her 2-month secondment to Temple University, also attended the seminar

EURAXESS Japan webinar on cooperation between European and Japanese scientists

On November 29, 2023, a webinar organised by EURAXESS Japan on cooperation between European and Japanese scientists 'MSCA Staff Exchanges - Research and innovation projects with Europe' was held with participation of Kristin Kraav, Manuel Díaz Rodriguez, and the Q-DYNAMO project coordinator Teodora Kirova.

Kristin Kraav from the Estonian Science Council talked about the rules of the Project Competition. Manuel Díaz Rodríguez from the University of Malaga talked about his project related to the latest technology for electric vehicles. Teodora Kirova from the University of Latvia introduced the Q-DYNAMO project.
